My birthday was celebrated on March 12th with the warmth of my family. I passed the age to have a party or getting drunk to the point of passing out. I just want my day to be peaceful. So, I went for a hike with my husband, sister-in-law and her husband at the Pipe Track, Cape Town. The hike was wonderful, we had a lovely weather. We intend to go all the way through the end of the track but because of the heat, we cannot force our bodies to reach this goal. My husband made a joke "we can't walk that far anymore, you are walking with the senior citizen here"😅 I am the youngest of the four of us.
This morning my father- in-law and his partner sang me a birthday song, I have to say, I was ready to shed tears but I was embarassed to do so. I am surprised and happy about the amount of love and warmth I received from my extended family. This blog as well is a birthday giftfrom my new friend Erinn, she's a blogger. She's sweet, I only mentioned one's that I also wanted to write since my thought's love to wander around. Although I don't know what I've done to receive so much love and warmth from those around me. I am very grateful and thankful.
My goal this year is to be better than what I have been over the past few years. I am more at the age where I crave for something more, it might sound funny because most of the people who are in my age were already achieving their goals and already in there,
but hey, I’m a late bloomer, when most of everyone are already walking in the clear path they choose, there I am still walking and groping in the fog of life . I don't know what my future will be, but I hope to continue to advance with a clear mind and a Heart.
